Dear God,

This morning I participated in worship through zoom.  Small pictures of parishioners appeared on my computer screen.  As I looked into their faces, what I witnessed was their faith.  One was a retired rural midwife, a generous, loving, caring woman who gives to so many in so many ways.  Another was a man who was once a police officer but now serves as our pastor.  Deeply committed to outreach, feeding the hungry, caring for the poor and tending to our flock, he daily wears and carries his faith to others.  A bright, disabled by a stroke, gentleman, an international hymn writer still writes poetry, liturgy and music offering it to the church and world.  All these bless others day after day.

When I look into the eyes of others, I see what you see, people who have a deep-down faith and take it gently into society where they model the love of your son.

Holy, holy, holy
are you,
Lord God.
Thank you
for the blessing
of faith.
Thank you
for Barb,
Ed and Brian.
All children
of yours,
they touched
my soul today.

Love, Andrea
