Dear God,

Yesterday I realized once again that you are a miracle God, a healing God.  For your mercy is greater than any compassion found on earth.

I watched with great joy two cousins hug one another and weep.  It has probably been 50 years since they have come together in one place.  Their animosity, resentment and bitterness kept them apart.  What initiated the healing, I do not know.  Maybe they were just tired of hating.  

Strangely enough, their healing seemed to rub off on the rest of us.  My sister who still reels from the deep sorrow and loss of the murder of her son seemed to find some easing of her own pain.  Perhaps she thought if you could heal these family members in an impossible situation, maybe you could heal her.

for unconditional love

that is

always deeper

than any emotion

we are capable

of feeling.
