Dear God,

Faith is a safety net for all human situations.  When life turns sour, faith can provide sweetness.  When injustice occurs, faith gives us courage and hope.  When darkness of any kind appears, faith turns on the light.  There is no situation where faith cannot save us from difficult times.

As a pastor I have witnessed how faith worked in human lives.  I watched a woman crawl out of a very dark cave due to years of sexual, emotional and physical abuse.  I observed a woman rise from her ashes after her son was murdered by his adopted, psychologically sick son.  I gazed upon many who faced terminal illness, ugly divorce and loss of dreams, hopes and life goals.  Faith was the buoy who kept their heads above water until the storms passed.  

Faith is a salve, a booster shot, a cup of cool water on a very hot day, a nutritious meal and a healing agent.  But it is also more; it is party celebration, the top of a beautiful mountain and a miracle happening.  Faith!

grants, promises,

celebrates, prays,

laughs, smiles,

appreciates, enjoys

blesses, challenges

and inspires.

Thank you

for grace

that opens

the door

to faith.
