Dear God,

You always lead us where we need to go!  When we are open, wide open, we can step into our sacred moments.  On this day with a cousin whom I have been apart from for decades, we reached back in time and found home once again.

We found ourselves on the family farm, laughing, eating home-cooked food, sharing funny stories, filling in places we had forgotten and growing our love for our history, family and faith.  Whereas I had felt a longing for family, I found myself filling up remembering, savoring and celebrating.

Loving God,

you always

remember us.

While we

may feel empty,

your fullness

spills over

into us

and we

are filled.
