Dear God,

Peace, true peace, the deep-down kind of peace only comes from you.  Although we may find inner peace within ourselves, until we dig even deeper into that deep connecting place in you, we will never discover and live the peace you give.

Why do we attempt to live life in our own power?  Why do we not tap into the divine power you offer?  Not the kind that wields itself over others but the kind that converts our own souls.  We miss opportunities to be transformed bringing wisdom, hope and faith.

Lead us

to peace,

O God,

your peace.

Teach us

to dig deep

in the 

inner recesses

of faith's 

first love.

Lead us

to you,

I pray.
