Dear God,

This morning as I lay on the carpet looking up at the dark night sky, my eye was drawn to one shiny, bright star.  As I gazed at it, once again I was drawn to the exceptional light in the darkness.  I thought of how faith is like that bright star.  When all is dark and depressing, faith can brighten things up and offer hope.

You caused me to think again how your light forever shines.  It is always to be found in the darkness.  It is your light, the only light that can transform us.

blessed light.

for the way

you radiate light

in the world.

or allowing it

to touch us,

every one

of us.
