Dear God,

I am so drawn into your light, Loving God.  I see one bright star in the dark sky, one twinkling Christmas light or one flame of a glowing candle and I am pulled into you.  It is like standing in the Light in the middle of darkness.  Each time a feeling of joy rises up inside me.

How do you do it, dear God?  How do you instantly bring peace to us?  Have you programmed us to respond to light or did you plant light inside us so we would recognize you immediately?  

When we lose our light for whatever reason, a loss, a sorrow or frustration, remind us that your light shines 24/7.  For your light is eternal; it always shines!

Holy God,

for your light

that radiates,

glows, warms

and loves.

Thank you

for turning us

toward you.

Thank you

for love

that makes 

it all happen.
