Dear God,

You do so much for us!  When we least expect it, you gift us with amazing treasures that not only bless now but tomorrow and the next tomorrow.

Today I visited my cousin and his wife.  We acted like we had not seen one another in years!  We told stories, laughed and thoroughly enjoyed the fellowship and love of one another.  But before I left they gave me three gifts, an orange carnival glass dish, a painting of my grandparents' home and my grandmother's small rocking chair when she was a toddler.  I could hardly believe their generosity and love!

One thing I have realized is this:  Gifts are never just gifts from one person to another.  They are so much more.  Each one has your fingerprint because love comes from you.  While I felt so much love from my cousins, I felt your love all the more.
