Dear God,

Today was another gray-sky day, my favorite!  It used to be sunny days were ones I look forward to but you asked me one day to dig a little deeper into my spirit.  What I discovered is that gray days give opportunity for greater reflection because we have to dig a little deeper for hope, warmth and joy.  Sunny days give a lot of surface beauty but gray days provide serious spiritual introspection. 

That perspective changed the way I think and contemplate.  Digging through surface living, beliefs and practices open up new pathways to adventure, discovery and treasure, something far more wonderful that surface beauty.  There we can toil, wonder, imagine, create and journey with nature, people and every day experiences.  We can live again, hope and find peace with you.
