Dear God,

Truly, O Lord, you have made me a gratitude person.  You have welled up within a large dose of thanksgiving.  You have been bringing to mind many individuals with whom I need to say thank you.  From family to friends to churches and monasteries and to acquaintances and kind people, you have revealed their many gifts to me and/or to my family.

So, I have been making my list and I am overwhelmed by your generosity of bringing so much grace to me through others.  A few days ago you led me to my husband of many years.  I started with him.  I expressed my gratitude for a number of things.  It felt good to let my appreciation spill over onto him.  That began my trek of gratitude visits.

for all

your love.

Thank you

for leading me

to the well

of gratitude.

Thank you

as well

for directing me

to those

who have given

so much.
