Dear God,

When we open ourselves to you, you enter not only our mind and soul but also every cell.  Millions of cells welcome you into themselves because you bring belonging, love, hope, beauty and acceptance.  You say, "Good morning, my friend, I created you.  I love you."  Who would not love that kind of welcome?

There, engaged we dwell together.  You speak to us, sometimes a word of challenge, sometimes a word of hope and sometimes a word of conviction but always a word of radical love.  It is not like any old entry, rather it is a sacred encounter.  Such moments reinforce our belief in you and increases our faith.  Not only that, gratitude has a chance to swell, to grow inside us until we are ready to burst on the outside.

living, loving presence.
