Dear God,

In daily life we see through human eyes.  Yet, you offer us divine eyes from which to view life.  What you see is different than what we normally see.  Through your lens we can see hope, peace and ways to reconcile, renew and restore.

More often than not, we choose to view difficulty through strictly human eyes.  In so doing, we limit and restrict perspectives, ideas and solutions.  We fail to remember all the ways you have inspired, touched and blessed us through your multi-faceted vision and action.  We forfeit an abundance of help and guidance from you.  Simply, we do not trust further than our own vision.

Forgive us, Lord,

for our failure

to see

through your eyes.

Forgive our reluctance

and failure

to trust.

Open our eyes

to heaven's view

so we

can live

this life

more faithfully.
