Dear God,
White buds have fully unfolded on the ornamental cherry tree just outside our study window. Their magnificent and delicate blossoms lean into the sun's rays. As the branches sway in the gentle breeze, they seem to sing in unison, "Sing praise to our God for he has looked upon us with great favor."
Such things we can only see and hear through a contemplative faith that anticipates God's constant movement in daily living. If we believe that then we can look at most anything and know God is at work in our midst bringing hope, peace and joy.
Thank you,
Gracious God,
for the gift
of your
wondrous spirit.
Thank you
for opening
our minds
and souls
to your
amazing handiwork.
Teach us
to open ourselves,
to actively listen
and anticipate
awesome messages
of eternity.
Love, Andrea
