Dear God,

It is when we are in deep despair that the door can open wide to hope!  Although things can look dark and daunting, it is only a vision of what may come but we play a part in the road to hope!

Anyone who has ever fallen into the abyss of despair knows the depths of its power, fear and hopelessness.  It is a raw place but fertile ground for something so much better.  Any who have fallen and found their way out know the extraordinary experience of gigantic movement into a brighter future.

Today is one of those days to look back and reflect on our past when death rose to life.  Impossible, we thought, only to find all things were possible.  It is also a good time to express gratitude and start the climb back up.

Blessed are you,

Almighty and Compassionate God,

you have touched

our lives

in ways

that are nearly

beyond comprehension.

Thank you

for lifting us up.

Thank you

for every gift

of a 

new future!
