Dearest God,

Fill us with the power of your Holy Spirit, not just for us alone but for all the powerless.  

Fill us with the love of your Holy Spirit, not just for us alone but for all the unloved.  

Fill us with the compassion of your Holy Spirit, not just for us alone but for all who need mercy.  

Fill us with the hope of your Holy Spirit, not just for us alone but for all who are hopeless.  

Fill us with the peace of your Holy Spirit, not just for us alone but for all who are afraid.  

Fill us with the strength of your Holy Spirit, not just for us alone but for all who are weak.

Fill us with the courage of your Holy Spirit, not just for us alone but for all who are timid. 

Fill us with the wisdom of your Holy Spirit, not just for us alone but for all who doubt, are mixed up and directionless.  

Fill us with the beauty of your Holy Spirit, not just for us alone but for all who feel ugly and unacceptable.  

Fill us with the wonder of your Holy Spirit, not just for us alone but for all who cannot see beyond their troubles.  

We cannot ask for ourselves without remembering all others, all, not some.  

Let your power, love, compassion, hope, peace, strength, wisdom, beauty and wonder change us, transform us and create us in your likeness and character.
