Dear God,

Thank you for the great freedoms I enjoy. Thank you for the freedom to speak, to make my own choices, and to become whatever and whoever I want to become. Thank you for the freedom to live where I want to live, to worship where and how I want to worship you. Thank you for the freedom to be.

While I enjoy all the freedoms my nation affords me, I realize that spiritual freedom unlocks the rest of the freedoms for me. As I relinquish my need to control, to join in your band of faith freedom pilgrims, I am granted so much openness, liberty, and opportunity to change the world for good.

As you guide us, one by one, to widen our view, our perspective, and our abilities, life for all is enriched, helped, renewed, and made whole. Where it is needed we are healed, restored, and reconciled. Your spirit frees us for more.

Great and Powerful God,
