Dear God,

Who can avert the devil's snare?  I mean, who can fight and win the temptation to be less than you call us to be?  What extraordinary tools do we need in order to conquer the demons that raise their ugly heads from time to time?

A loved one has succumbed to incredibly mean and ugly behavior.  She has hurt many around her with her judgmental words and painful disdain for those who love her the most.  Although she claims to be a woman of faith, it appears that faith has little to do with the kind of behaviors she exhibits.  One could draw the conclusion that something else has hold over her preventing her from experiencing the freeing liberation only you can give.  What is to be done?

Show us
the way,
O Lord,
to lead
our loved one
to your grace.
Welcome her home
so she
may be filled
with your compassion,
love, mercy,
and peace,
I pray.

Love, Andrea
