Dear God,

Faith makes the difference!  Hopelessness becomes hope when faith is applied.  Fear dissolves in the face of faith.  Courage emerges when faith steps to the forefront.  Broken places are restored when faith rises up.  Peace comes when faith is present.  Yes, indeed faith makes the difference!

Today I did an inventory of faith, just a quick run-through of life at the edges and how faith changed things, primarily me.  How many times did I think something was impossible only to discover when I lived by faith a new scene appeared before me?  More times than I can count.  How many times have you brought joy in the midst of disruption, discouragement, or distress?  Numerous!  How many times have you given me power to overcome?  So very many!

When I live by faith, I live more hopefully, more joyously, more contentedly.  And why?  Because you are faith to me.  You are life to me.  You are peace to me.  You are God and there really is none like you!  How grateful I am!  Blessed too!

Gracious God,
you are good;
you are giving;
you are loving.
Thank you
for including me
as one
of your own.
My heart
is full
of faith
which means
I am full
of you.
Thank you,
Blessed God,
for filling me
with heaven's best.
