Dear God,
We were standing in the middle of the apple orchard when the doctor called us to confirm surgery later this week. Harold and I wrapped our arms around each other giving thanks for your compassion. We savored our moment together.
Driving home considering what I still needed to do before surgery, we were quiet thinking about a lot of things. With one hand on the steering wheel and the other on my husband's hand, I prayed a prayer of thanksgiving.
Precious Lord,
thank you
for rich moments
of love
and faith.
Thank you
for reminding us
the value
of relationships.
Thank you
for your
kind mercy.
Love, Andrea
