Dear God,

I watched as the wind stirred just enough to release leaves from my River Birch trees.  As they floated downward, I smiled, happy to witness Autumn and its transformation.  The seasons are yet one more time bending to your call.

How I wish I could bend like that.  The simplest breeze of your spirit could move me in one way or another.  I would always be happy to be changed.  I would listen attentively for your voice making ready to do your will because your will is always better.  I would follow recognizing the voice of the Master above all voices.  I would know I was a willing participant in creation.  My joy would be full.

Master of the Cosmos,
teach me
to bend
at the
slightest stir
of your spirit.
Show me
the way
to be obedient,
humble, and poised
for service
to humanity.
Make me
your own,
dear Lord,
I pray.

Love, Andrea
