Dear God,

When you have entrusted a task to me and I have followed your lead, I dared to admit I felt like a handmaid of God, your partner, albeit a very small one.  Although the task may have been meant for someone else, I have felt myself blessed.

This morning I created "Harold's Hall of Love", a hallway filled with cards, letters, and notes from beloved ones who too partnered with you.  Displayed with removable glue dots, there are 130 plus messages of love, hope, encouragement, joy, peace, and laughter.  Each one conveys a marvelous communique with a divine thread.  As I affixed each individual love note, I felt your blessing springing out of it.  By the time I was done I felt I stood in the center of a sacred hall created by you.

Blessings come as we simply do as you ask.  Even though this hallowed hall is for Harold, each time I walk through it, I sense your wondrous presence.  In this way my husband and I can read and reread blessings sent from near and far.  Each one ushers us into your loving presence reminding us of love that will not let us go.

As I reflect upon your goodness, kindness, and mercy, I am overwhelmed with joy and gratitude.

Gracious God,
thank you
for blessing us.
We cannot begin
to fathom
the depth
and width
of your
merciful love.
We are
only able
to receive it
again and again.
Thank you,
thank you,
thank you.

Love, Andrea
