Dear God,

Where do I see your hand at work?  Where do I see your hope, your miracle?  Where do I see your love in action?  These are questions I ask every day.  As I sniff around like a bloodhound, it is not difficult to discover your living presence in the world.

Today my daughter called just to talk but then she told me of a mother she saw at school and her young daughter.  My Jenni was taken by their sad condition.  "Mom, I have to do something.  I am going to buy some clothes for this family.  I have to find a way."

Your grace is present when one stranger is moved, inspired to help someone else in need.  Jenni will be your hands this week.  She will enable a family to see that hand.  She will make your love real to one family this Christmas.
