Dearest God,

You gave us Lucy eight years ago today.  A girl with a very soft heart, a promising ball player, great in school, a good friend, and a sweetie pie, Lucy speaks often about you as she prays with her family daily for all the children in the world.  She models your loving compassion as she takes on projects to help others in her school.

When I think about Lucy, I think about you because she thinks like you.  Her heart always skips a beat when she sees someone in need.  She brainstorms ways she can help, then she recruits others to assist her in the cause.  She is full of mercy.

O Lord;
teach us
to have
caring hearts.
Show us
the way
to help
one another.
