Dear God,

Your power is greater than any other power that can tempt and seduce the human soul.  When we find ourselves in difficult situations that call for a choice and a decision, yours is the power that can help and save us.

As I consider those around me who decide to say no to poor choices, I am emboldened in my own faith to follow your will for my life.  When I see how others stretch and grow turning away from that which can debilitate, destroy, or harm, I am challenged to do the same.

For the most part I know when I am tempted to fall prey to something that will hurt me or others.  That awareness is faith at its best.  When the bell goes off, I realize you are calling me to turn away, to trust, and to grab for the higher value.  You save me at just the right time.  Thank you.
