Dearest God,

Your best gift to us is love.  Love warms the heart and binds people together.  Love heals and mends whatever is broken.  Love breaks the power of sin and gives second chances.  Love includes, accepts, and draws in.  Love forgives.  Love offers hope, peace, and joy.  Love builds faith and gives strength.  Love teaches, turns us around, and makes things beautiful.

Your love melts the human heart.  When we feel loved by you, anything seems possible.  The ground under our feet feels steady and strong.  Courage emerges and we feel powerful enough to risk, to change, and to move forward in life no matter the circumstances.  Your love overwhelms and springs forth like a never-ending fountain.  All we want to do is sing your praise.
