Dearest God,

It is true, faith moves mountains.  So often in life, O Lord, we face mountains of doubt and fear.  We are blocked from moving forward on our journey.  We are paralyzed, destined to live in the dark hole.  No matter what we want to do, we are blinded by the power of darkness.  But faith has the power to bust every other power that seeks to do us in.

Spiritual blindness can always find a cure in faith.  As we open ourselves to you, as we trust you to speak to us, and as we find positive out of negative and hope out of faith, the scales from our eyes can literally disappear opening the way to possibility.  Faith shakes down the mountain a rock at a time until suddenly the mountain is merely a small hill and finally just a bump in the road that can ultimately be smoothed out by faith in you.  As we reflect upon your grace in the past and your kindness toward us as we trust, we find all kinds of mountain collapses.  That leads us to more faith, greater hope, peace like a river, and joy like a fountain.

Holy God,
author of hope,
thank you
for your
mighty power
that makes faith
the greatest power
on earth.
Thank you
for tools
to take mountains down.
Thank you
for love
that enables us
to do more
than we
ever thought possible.

Love always, Andrea
