Dearest God,

Every day is a time for renewal.  Every day you long to shape our lives more fully into your design and image.  Every day is an opportunity to be close to you.

When we open our eyes to faith, we open our souls to great possibilities.  You come to us drawing us near.  Whether we are in the doldrums, in great distress, or disturbed in any way, you sit with us.  You bring us a calm spirit, an ability to focus, and hope for change.  You invite us to trust you once again.  When we are finally able to say yes, you give us the promise of transformation.

Sometimes change comes quickly.  Other times it is a process.  Always it is a chance to know you better, grow in our faith, and stretch to include new ideas, thoughts, and practices.  As we allow ourselves to be in union with you, we are enabled to move toward renewal of our mind, body, and spirit.
