Dear God,

The birds are singing the most beautiful songs.  They are bringing spring into being.  Sometimes it seems like a quartet or quintet with different sounds and melodies.  Even the crows have something to offer.

Each spring erupts sharing their story of creation.  Not only the birds but the trees, flowers, and shrubs have something to tell.  All of them point to you as creator of the cosmos.  Wonderfully we are drawn in, singing our own song of spiritual development.

The change of the season causes us to pause and be glad.  The spiritual changes challenge us to consider the fertile ground in our own soul.  They signal a time for openness and growth.  How can we not be happy when you give us a free pass to transformation?

Holy and Wondrous God,
thank you
for spring
and all
its beauty.
Thank you
for the call
to notice
and to change.
Thank you
for thinking
of all
of us.

Love, Andrea
