Dear God,
The aftermath of Easter is a wonderful gift. Resurrection, rebirth, and new life all continue. Your light shines in our darkness reminding us of your living presence.
As tiny plants emerge from the soil I am reminded how all looked dead this winter. All that was beautiful just a few months ago were gone, seeds hidden below ground. But now they are moving their little heads up to the light and, suddenly as if for the first time, they are rising up, claiming their space in the light. Their color is beginning to show, white, yellow, green and purple. They are quite lovely.
You give our faith that same chance. What may appear dead or lifeless can be renewed. A robust energy can revitalize body, mind, and soul. We can begin to see more clearly because it is always easier to see in the light than in the darkness. We can have a radiant beauty that blesses us and others. We too can live again.
Loving God,
thank you
for second chances,
for rebirth
and renewal,
for new life.
Thank you
for Easter.
Thank you
for faith.
Love, Andrea
