Dear God,
We stood in our garage, put our arms around each other, and prayed together. We remembered your goodness in your daily provision, for your kindness during troubled times, and for the countless many blessings you have given. We asked for traveling mercies.
Each day you call us to prayer, to love, and to gratitude. So often we fail or forget. We distract ourselves with lesser things. We focus on our own happiness or satisfaction. We walk right by you on our way to life.
But this morning we remembered and gave thanks and we are grateful we remembered. Thank you.
Holy Spirit God,
thank you
for staying connected
with us
when we
connect elsewhere.
Forgive our shortcomings,
our flaws,
and our failures.
Let the majesty
of your goodness
prompt us
to pray,
to love,
and to
give thanks.
Love always, Andrea
