Dear God,

How will we ever find peace in our world?  When will we stop killing one another?  When will we begin caring for our neighbor?

What is it inside us that refuses to bless our neighbor?  Why do we create thought patterns that makes our neighbor an enemy?  Does evil lurk within each of us?

What must we do to bring harmony, O God?

So many questions,
Father,
so many questions.
I pray
our spirits
will be healed,
mended at fences.
Change us;
transform us
with your power
from on high.
