Dear God,

Today you reminded me how we are made for each other.  You made human beings to participate in the lives of those around them.  Sometimes it is family, other times friends, and yet others times strangers will wander into our space and tarry with us, revealing your compassion.

I carried a fun snowman with me on my drive back home to the east coast.  Each time I stopped I took a picture of Frosty with someone or something, maintenance engineers at a rest stop, a motel front desk receptionist and breakfast hospitality lady, and a restaurant waiter.  All these perfect strangers were kind, fun, and helpful.  We laughed and had a good time sharing together across the country.

You lifted my eyes to heaven to give thanks for the gift of others.  For a brief moment in time these strangers, your beloved children, became friends and we blessed each other.

Loving God,
thank you
for prized moments
of faith.
Thank you
for bringing people together.
Thank you
for always being
in our midst.

Love, Andrea
