Dear God,

Although the cold, wintry winds blew buffeting us as we walked into St. Malachy's Church, the wind of your spirit warmed us as we stood to listen to the Word proclaimed.  We were challenged to remember our baptism, the covenantal commitment we made, and the value and meaning of faith.

Memories of faith, of your hand in my life, and of times, events, and places where you were very present moving me forward flooded my mind during the service inspired by the call to remember my own baptism.  I realized once again your incredible blessings.  Gratitude filled my soul.

Participating in worship, devoting myself to go to your house every Sunday, listening for your voice, singing my faith, and praying and sharing the peace of Christ brings so much peace and joy to me.  I get to see your spirit working, hear the single voice of faith when we sing together, and bless one another as we share together the hope of the world.

Let the wind
of your spirit blow,
Mighty God;
blow in
our direction.
Touch us,
inspire us,
redeem us,
change us,
and challenge us
to your
love in service,
I pray.

Love, Andrea
