Dear God,

It is in quiet moments we experience the most beautiful part of you.  In faith a simple birdsong can inspire us to hear angels singing.  The gift becomes so sacred that we suddenly find ourselves ushered into the holy of holies. 

What gifts come to us in sacred silence!  A word, an insight, a hope, any or all can come to us when our hearts, minds, and souls are quieted preparing for your presence in our lives.  Our doubts can turn to assurance, our fears to faith, and our despair to hope.  But more than anything, we find ourselves in your company when we step away from earthly distractions for the things of eternity.

for speaking
your word
to us.
Thank you
for blessing us
with your
heavenly presence.
