Dear God,

Faith is believed hope before it comes.  It is a radical trust in you, Beloved God.  It means we believe you are with us tomorrow even before tomorrow arrives.

Recently you reminded me even when our situations or those of loved ones do not change, it does not mean there is no room for hope.  As we pray and encourage, as we reach out and touch, and as we walk in faith, we bear the reality of your love, grace, and mercy in the world.  Our presence, because we carry the presence of the Lord, shines through the darkness and lifts people up.  We help create hope in others.
