Dearest God,

We worship, praise, and adore you.  You are God; there is none like you.

One day a week we gather to remember, to celebrate, and to pray.  As we lift our voices in song, we fill up with your joy and express our thanksgiving.  In our togetherness we feel your palpable presence and are so grateful.

This morning when I looked around the sanctuary, I saw so many who have lived through great hardship and sorrow.  But more than that, they have overcome through faith, trust, and belief.  Their testimony strengthens us for our own difficulties.  They inspire us to look up and look out for the creator of the cosmos.  Their faith fills us with courage.

As we sing our final hymn making ready for our departure home, we know the joy of the Lord and spill over with praise.

Holy God,
giver of all good things,
thank you
for Sunday mornings,
for worship,
for grace,
and faith.
Thank you
for the
divine mystery
that unfolds
when we gather.
Thank you
for blessing us
so we
can bless others.

Love, Andrea
