Dear God,

Eucharist.  Eucharist, the sweet taste of heaven.  Every time we feel our heart warmed, our soul filled, our mind shifted, our gratitude increased, and our faith inspired, we taste heavenly manna.  Each and every moment is a priceless moment with the one eternal God, you, our Lord, you.

Eucharist is so much more than communion elements.  It is a moment of faith, a time of dwelling with God Most High, a challenge to rise up, a measure of mercy, a blessing of grace.  When we step forward, open our mouths, and receive the divine gifts we are being given the best you have to offer.

Eucharist happens when we recognize our sin and feel the rush of spirit wind blow upon our face, a sign of your presence with us.  Eucharist occurs when we take your challenge, operate from the courage you give us, and walk forward with strength from on high.  Eucharist comes when we sense we are in a holy place and we are inspired to be silent, to listen for your voice, and to pray.  Eucharist blesses us when we yearn for heaven's answer to our problem.  Eucharist fills us when we stop what we are doing and move toward doing your will.

Eucharist, so much more.

Blessed Lord,
thank you
for the gift
of Eucharist.
Help us recognize
when we
are in
your presence.
Help us
become aware
when we
are experiencing
a holy moment
with you.

Love always, Andrea
