Dear God,

Your power is great, Almighty God.  You make the sun to shine, the rain to fall, the temperature to rise.  You make the seasons: spring, summer, fall, and winter.  You breathe air into the world.  You make your creatures, great and small.

You give us your power to become, to transform, and to be.  You set us free to roam this world and make our mark.  You release your love, grace, and mercy into all your children.  You make us smile, hope, and serve.

Help us, O Lord, realize the power of your gifts!  Help us see the truth that sets us free!  Help us share your gifts with all creatures and all creation!

our God
who makes us!

and only God
who loves.
