Dear God,

Let your light shine, O Lord, let it shine.  Take away the darkness.  Rob the tempters of their booty.  Let faith rise up higher and higher. 

Sometimes life is a struggle, a difficult struggle.  When we are in the midst of it, we put on blinders so we cannot see help on the way.  We focus on the difficulty only, allowing it to steal our hope.  But you, O Lord, you shine your light anyway.  You reveal your love and mercy.  You breathe life into us maintaining us while we fight our way to the top.
