Dear God,

Sometimes we just want to stand up and sing, "Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me.  I once was lost but now am found.  Was blind but now I see."  Those holy urges are ways of saying thank you, thank you, Lord, for lifting the veil, for forgiving me, for helping me move on.

When I pause to consider your work in our lives, in my life, I realize I have much to sing about.  I know grace because I have received it time and time again.  Not that I was ever worthy of it, but it came as an act of unconditional love.  When I recognize the gift, I fall to my knees in my heart and offer up my response of praise and thanksgiving.  I realize that what good ever comes into my life is always a holy act of grace and always a cause for singing!

Thank you,
Most Holy God,
for the gift
of grace.
Such a
beautiful gift!
And to think
simple humans,
sinful though
we are,
are blessed
with it.
Make us yours,
a holy people,
cleansed, purified,
made right
so we
can praise you
with a
clean heart,
mind and spirit.

Love always, Andrea
