Dear God,

Sometimes we just have to dig deep to find that which needs to be removed from our lives.  We don't always realize there is something hidden deep within ourselves.  But we will seemingly react to things the same way without knowing the cause.  Then one day a thought, a picture or rotten scent will peak our interest leading us to our cause and our solution.  All this is your work.

Today as I was clearing the spiritual path outdoors, I saw this blue something sticking up out of the ground.  My friend and I started digging.  It seemed an hour later we found the whole object.  It must have been a big gunny sack of sand left laying on the ground for years.  We finally got it up and out filling the hole with rich soil and compost.  Tomorrow we will plant flowers that will bless the land and the neighbors for a long, long time.

You know us inside and out.  You know our deepest longings and our greatest hurts.  You know what needs clearing and what needs filling.  You know how to reach us.  We just need to lean into you allowing you to do your holy work and what beautiful work you do!
