Dear God,

Who are we without you?  Simply another human on the planet.  With you we are beloved children of the Great Creator, Almighty God and Light of the World.

Rarely do we pause long enough to think on you, who you are, how you are, what you do and our relationship to you.  We give you little to no time, attention or interest.  We just go about our daily business doing what we do in this thing called life.  We fail to rise to higher levels of awareness, love and mystery.  But when we do...when we do, something happens.  Our world grows wider and deeper, our love increases, our appreciation of the cosmos swells, our faith comes to life and our ability to be grateful explodes with possibility.  We see what we could not see before.  We hear what we could not hear earlier.  We touch, taste and smell the glory of the Lord.

Days are sweet when we walk intentionally with you.  We converse, you and we.  You reveal secrets of the universe, of great mystery and love that is far greater than we could possibly have imagined.  We breathe the air of goodness and mercy.  We weep with tears of joy.  We acknowledge our relationship yours with us and ours with you.  And we are blessed, so very blessed.
