Dear God,

When we ponder your ways, O Lord, we find ourselves being drawn closer and closer to you.  As we step closer, we see you in the wind, the sun and the stars.  We see you in the love of family and friends.  We see you everywhere.

This morning I watched as the birds were drawn to our serviceberry tree.  Fluttering from limb to limb they reached out for the luscious red berries on the serviceberry tree.  They gathered garden leavings for nests.  They flew from place to place enjoying the ride on the wind of your spirit.

How can we not see you, Gracious God, in all that is before us?

Holy and Everlasting God,
thank you
for gifts
all around us.
Thank you
for your spirit
present everywhere
we look.
Thank you
for including us
in your creation.
