Dear God,

There are so many ways you let us know your presence.  You reveal to us your loving, living presence.

As my daughter is recovering not only from her surgery, an abscessed tooth and pneumonia, I sense we are recovering too.  Living a long dry spell together, we have been returned to one another as I have helped out with family, laundry, transportation, meals, and general assistance.  Not only that, we play board games, especially Boggle.  We are finding our way home together.

Some things we just aren't capable of doing on our own.  We can do so much but you offer us more...resources, ideas, grace, mercy and wisdom.  With these we are able to move from our positions to somewhere else better.  With your aid, all things are possible.

Holy God,
you are powerful,
understanding and
full of hope.
You give us
these gifts.
You bless us,
giving us
another chance.
You make
yourself known.
