Dear God,

Everything was encased with ice.  When the sun shone, they were like diamonds.  I snapped a picture but the ice was not evident.  I started to delete the picture but then I made the picture bigger.  What I saw was a wonder.  The larger I made it, the more it looked like stained glass.  Color appeared where the sun reflected on the ice.  It was amazingly beautiful.

What a lesson.  What we see is not always all there is.  If we settle for what the eye sees on the surface of things, we will only see one dimension but if we wait and shift the picture a teeny bit, we will see more and more.

I wish I was an artist who could paint the picture I took.  I could not believe my eyes.  It was a reminder for me to look deeper for I may just see something hidden that will wow my soul.

Thank you,
O God,
for the
glorious picture
I took.
I almost missed
the hidden treasure.
I almost
deleted it
but something
told me
to look
a little deeper.
And when
I did,
I saw
what you
see daily.

Love, Andrea
