Dear God,

Very tired from my long journey home, I watched out the window as snowflakes whirled and twirled in the air outside my bedroom window.  I thought of every unique flake and the power of the wind to move them all around.  Beauty gripped my full attention.

Daily you provide great scenes of your living presence.  The wintry scene outside my window began my day as I thought of you.  Creation is one of your greatest gifts, the seasons, colors, rhythms, sounds and scenes cause us to pause, to think and to reflect.  It is a great motivator and inspirer to me.

On such days you give me special time to consider what is blessing and then I have opportunity to name them and give thanks.
