Dearest God,
I watched as snowflakes fell from the sky onto the woods behind our home. I watched as they accumulated, being held by twigs, branches and limbs. From my window it looked like arms upstretched receiving and holding onto your richest blessings. I was inspired and moved. Yet again winter blessings.
There are so many ways you speak to us, O Lord. We do not have to go hunting for you. You are as close as our breath. And when we breathe in, we breathe in the air of eternity, of heaven and of great love. As I sit in the quiet and take in what you have brought to me, to all of us, I can't help but give thanks and praise.
You are a
gift-giving God,
Most Holy One.
Thank you
for each gift
that comes.
Help me recognize
your handiwork,
your love
and your kindness.
As I
breathe in
your grace,
may I
breathe out
the same,
I pray.
Love, Andrea
