Dear God,

My granddaughter is listening to your call for justice.  She joins the protests for justice for black and brown people.  She believes only justice will bring hope, peace and joy.

What makes one stand up for a cause and not another?  What drives people to do your important work?  It seems change can only happen when enough people say yes to your call.

Sophie feels deeply.  She cares about what hurts others.  She wants peace for all people.  She knows suffering and pain.  She has experienced it herself and has observed others in pain.  She wants to change the environment so others can find and experience the deep peace only you can give.
