Dear God,

Even as I rise to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night I hear your voice nudging me to pray.  For a family member, protesters, victims of Covid-19, refugees, the forgotten, the lost and the fearful.  As I murmur names, groups and strangers, I know you are doing the same thing with others around the world.

You keep us in touch with one another.  You want us to pray not only for those we know but those we do not know, those who need help, rescue, guidance, love and hope.  As we connect with others we grow more deeply in touch with you.

Grow our love
for one another,
O God.
Make us
into one people,
one human family.
Sensitize us
to the need
for prayer
and for prayer
for others.

Love, Andrea
