Dear God,

Holy moments can arise at any time.  Insights, pearls of wisdom and challenges come from your divine hand.  They bless, convict and persuade us in love, with love and for love.

This morning as I sat with my circle of friends, contemporary and ancient authors from very long ago, I heard your voice speaking.  These writers simply tell their own stories.  Some days, often in fact, their stories are similar even though some come from 1500 years ago.  Always they are stories of faith, conversion and transformation.

This morning I listened and watched as St. Augustine came to the realization of Jesus Christ.  To observe from afar, I felt my own heart, mind and soul swell again with love for you.  And then to hear the words of the writer from is called 2 Isaiah, such hope spoken for the people of Israel.  Their words always feel fresh as if they are currently being spoken.  As we sit in our circle, faith and love and joy lift off the pages.

Thank you
for the
holy moment
this morning.
Thank you
for St. Augustine,
Mother Teresa,
Teresa of Lisieux,
the psalmist,
Brother Tvedten
and others
who sit
with me
each morning.
I am
beyond blessed
by their honesty,
truth and faith.
Thank you
for speaking
through others
who nudge us
in matters
of faith.

Love always, Andrea
